PittStop Invitationals November 11, 2023 (Pittsburg, CA)

Let’s start it off by congratulating The PittStop on their first competition! I was only there for the first half of the day since I had to open Rolling Garage up at 3PM, but I was able to see how smoothly the PittStop staff was running it. It was a great turnout with the amount of registered drivers that they had.

My whole visit there was during their practice rounds and it was fun watching everyone getting their cars dialed in for this track. Good thing they had their whole event live-streamed! I was able to stay updated during my drive back to Rolling Garage and was able to enjoy watching the top 32 brackets on their Facebook Live. Click here to watch live stream.

With a total of 34 drivers, the qualifying begins. Each driver was given two qualifying runs and their scores were based on the average of the two runs. Our very own, Jordan Meyers, took the "Top Qualifier" spot with his overall average score of 49. All of the qualifying scores are listed below.

All of the battles kept me on the edge of my seat while watching the livestream. Props to all of the drivers. Everyone put on a good show! Thank you to the judges for taking the time out of their day to help make this event happen.

Here is the bracket after all of the battles have been completed. The day ended with Jordan Meyers (Top Qualifier) battling it out with Malcolm Francisco for the #1 spot. After a few minutes of deliberation between the judges, they came to the conclusion that Malcolm won the battle and earned 1st place. Jordan took second place, Ricky Cox took third place, and Mitch Lew took 4th place. It was insane to see Team Rolling Garage on all 3 podium spots.
